Gear Guru, Host of Outdoor Product Showcase

Dan Kidder, The Gear Guru, has been professionally reviewing outdoor products for 16 years. He is president of Kidder Communications and was formerly editor of Sportsman's News Magazine. He is an avid outdoorsman, adventurer, explorer, author, teacher, television host, and speaker. Additionally, he is a defensive tactics instructor and veteran of the US Marine Corps. His areas of expertise are canyoneering, wilderness survival, self defense, emergency preparedness, hiking, camping, and he even occasionally hunts and fishes.

International Sportsmen's Expo

Dan has hosted the Expo's Outdoor Product Showcase feature since its inception nearly a decade ago. He is responsible for choosing the products and promoting them throughout the expo to thousands  of outdoor enthusiasts, as well as in television and radio interviews.
