Survival--the Will, the Skills

The Expo is honored to introduce  Casey Harver to our stage. In addition to running Kodiak Big Timber Lodge in Alaska, where he's a Charter Boat Captain, fishing and assistant big game guide, and  Alaska Big Game Transporter, Casey also owns Kodiak Survival School.

A United States Navy SEAL Veteran (Retired) with 23 years’ experience, Casey was a SERE Instructor, supervising high-risk training, teaching advanced techniques, and auditing all phases of the curriculum. SERE--Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape--is a training program, best known by its military acronym, that prepares U.S. military personnel, U.S. Department of Defense civilians, and private military contractors to survive and "return with honor" in survival scenarios.

In city or wilderness, in perfect or harsh weather, alone or with others, survival requires certain skills any of us can learn. Gear can help, too. But as survival expert Casey Harver will reveal, the most important "skill" of all is the will to survive. What does that mean? Do you have it? If not, how can you "get" it? That's what Casey's stories and instruction are about. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn from one of the best. Here's one of Casey's Pro Tips--more at the Expo's YouTube page.
