Doug Ouellette from Reno, Nevada has over 45 years of fly-fishing experience and is a licensed fly-fishing guide for California, Pyramid Lake, and is a Nevada “Master Guide” (#25845). He has been presenting comprehensive fly-fishing shows since 1982. John Barr says of Doug in his book Barr Flies: “Doug Ouellette of Calvada Fly Fishing in Nevada, is one of the best stillwater fishermen in the country”.Dopug is a contract fly tier for Umpqua Feather Merchants with four patterns cataloged.In 2006 he was the recipient of the highly coveted “Cal Bird Fly Tying Cup”.
