Fly Fishing In and Around Rocky Mountain National Park

Kirk Bien is a family man, business man, Fly Fisherman, Fly Tyer, Fly Fishing Guide, Colorado River Float Fishing Guide, Back Country Guide, Llama Pack Guide and more.  Kirk started Kirks Flyshop and Guide Service over 20 years ago while still in college at CSU.  Kirks businesses have now grown to 3 Flyshop locations in Estes Park and Grand Lake.  Kirk has participated on many TV and Radio shows from as far away as France.  He has been a presenter at the ISE for over 15 years. He is a strong advocate and supporter of the Native Greenback Cutthroat restoration in RMNP. Kirks Flyshop is permitted to Guide Fly Fishing trips on the Big Thompson River, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Upper Colorado River. Kirks Flyshop does extensive back country trips into Rocky Mountain National Park with Kirk being the first to lead Llama Pack trips in the Park.  Kirks Flyshop also leads Backpack trips, Snowshoe trips, and Day Hikes into Rocky Mountain National Park.
