Fly Fishing Rocky Mountain National Park

Kirk Bien   has been  fly fishing for 24 years, and guiding for 16 years. His favorite places to fly fish  are Rocky Mountain National Park, specifically Forest Canyon and  the Big Thompson River below Lake Estes.

The fly fishing in Estes Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) has made a dramatic recovery after the Giant Flood of 2013.  Kirk will give you a detailed view and discussion of the fishing and habitat changes since the flood.  Some areas have even more fish than before the flood!  Kirk will also give some insights to the prime back-country fly-fishing for Native Greenback Cutthroat in RMNP.
