Fishing the Tenkara Way

Mike is an  ambassador for Tenkara USA, an instructor and guide in northern California.  Tenkara, an ancient method of fishing, originated in Japan.  Effective and fun to learn, Tenkara is all about simplicity.  A rod, a line and a fly are all you need.  Not only is Tenkara a great first step into fishing, it is an excellent option for hikers, cyclists, climbers, paddlers, canyoners, boulderers, photographers, backpackers and anyone who seeks lightweight, ease-of-packing and more fun in the outdoors.
